Temporary Traffic Control & Flagging

AWP provides a full range of temporary traffic control services. Our services range from simple one lane flagging operations, to multi-lane road closures with detours. AWP’s highly trained traffic control personnel arrive at the work site fully equipped with all knowledge and traffic control devices required for the safest, most efficient work zone. Through this training all AWP personnel are taught how to communicate with other team members, our clients, and the general public to ensure highly effective work zones are set up and maintained throughout the work day. AWP’s goal is to set up “Injury Free” work zones that are compliant, safe, self-sufficient, and facilitate optimal traffic flow for motorists, bicyclists, and pedestrians.

Railway Temporary Traffic Control

In addition to controlling traffic on the road, AWP also provides temporary traffic control for railway traffic, including freight, commuter, and transit rail networks. AWP has traffic control specialists who are trained and certified in accordance with the appropriate Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) and Federal Transit Administration (FTA) standards. Our team also receives safety training as required by the railway owner prior to any job.
