As America’s Traffic Control Leader, AWP is continually evolving to meet our customers’ needs, and to be the best, safest, and most complete traffic control provider in the industry. One thing that has remained the same since 1993, when this company was founded, is the AWP business model, which demands safe operation in everything we do and delivers consistent, compliant and complete services to all our customers.

At the heart of this business model is AWP’s commitment to safety. Our deep-rooted safety culture is critical to who we are and what we represent as a company. We are continually improving our employee training and education, our investigations and safety inspections, and, perhaps most importantly, we are actively engaging every member of our team in the safety process every day. Our safety performance starts with a commitment from every member of our team to be safe each and every day, and to look out for the safety of all those around them. Our dedicated people are at the center of our safety model. Safety is what we are all about, it is what we do.

I personally joined the AWP team in September 2012, and it has been an exciting, rewarding experience. My first impression of AWP was that this team is made up of great people who model the definitions of dedication, professionalism, commitment, and engagement. I have witnessed this to be true time and again.
